If you’re anything like me, you’ve likely encountered memes suggesting that merely providing pizza to your employees does little to enhance workplace culture. Similarly, while an annual raise can generate momentary happiness, a great work environment cultivates yearly satisfaction. These insights resonate deeply, and in honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought I would share a few strategies for demonstrating genuine care for your employees year-round. This is not an exhaustive list, but it is a good starting point.
Be Visible and Lead By Example
